Kiddies Kingdom was previously known as the Nappy factory, it started operating in the early 1980’s by its current MD Mr Hanif Patel. With very few baby suppliers around, the nappy factory found a gap in the market place and managed to establish there selves very quickly. At that time we were a wholesaler of nappies thus known as the ‘Nappy Factory’. Our products were distributed to many local retailers and we were the prime source for the nappy rounds in Batley and Dewsbury.
As Years passed by, in the late 1980’s we opened up our own factory shop in the heart of Batley, A wide range of Nappies were now open to the public. As the demand, popularity and reputation of our shop increased we gradually introduced baby products. Joining forces with long established brands such as Tommee Tippee, Britax and brevi , we gave our customers a wider choice and converted the factory shop in to a one stop baby shop.
Retail Premises 1
As our product range expanded, in 1989 we moved to a larger retail premises in Batley. This change meant we could stock more products and offer the full range to our customers. Many manufacturers such as Chicco were born as we rapidly grew. We were now known for having the widest selection of Baby goods in the area. Cotton nappies were very popular at this moment in time but were replaced by disposable ones throughout the years. Customers from all the surrounding areas regularly visited to purchase any baby essentials they required.
